A path to nowhere

This pictures was taken in Florianópolis, Brazil. Went out with a group of Flickr friends and low tide gave us this interesing opportunity to see more of the rocks. My first time meeting this bunch of photography fans, and it was a nice experience I must add.
The B&W version of this picture was justified in my mind and brings to this image the same mood that was present during shooting. Clicking on the image, you’ll see it large.

Puffin on stage

It was great to be so close to wild puffins this day. This rock reminded me of a stage. Lots of them came and went within the 3 or so hours I spent near this spot. I didn’t even need to move around a lot. They came, “sang” a little, and took off. What an amazind bird this is.
